I am Raymond Henriksen Heggheim, your friendly neighborhood semi-professional artist, and an expert in both digital art and modesty. With 20 years of experience under my belt, I enjoy splitting my time between freelance gigs and weird poster creations or chipping away at my graphic novel.

Though I primarily consider myself a digital painter, I’ve incorporated the use of A.I.s in many steps in my workflow. I mostly employ Midjourney it in the idea/sketching process, but great image generations from there has lately found its way into my poster designs without much editing. How much it contributes varies from poster to poster. Since the A.Is have progressed to the point they have and can recreate any artist style, I decided fairly early to not use any artist prompts, and do prefer to use my self-trained diffusion models trained on my own art and artwork for which I have commercial rights.

Just to be clear, the base Stable Diffusion models and Midjourney are trained on images scraped from the vast reaches of the internet. But any A.I. elements in my final artworks are purely the offspring of my own art.

In my poster art though, you might spot a full-blooded A.I. creation with the use of “photos” — typically what looks like a photo is an A.I. generation. So in poster all bets are off other than avoiding artist names as prompts.

Though, like the beautiful, modest and dare I say cute self quote: ”I’m a one man fucking art-house.“ I do have some holes in my skills;

With my godlike wide-ranging prowess and the aid of my trusted A.I.s, I can replicate virtually any artistic style out there. But hey, no one's perfect! I must confess to a blind spot when it comes to the intricacies of manga and anime art. I could summon the spirits of my digital cohorts and concoct something that approximates the essence of these styles, but authenticity is a tough beast to master. If you're seeking a true manga or anime stylist, I encourage you to pursue the legions of talented artists who specialize in this unique form. And though I pride myself on rising to any challenge, in this case, I happily yield the floor to the experts.
